I bought the Jack Gilbert [Autumn 2006] issue.  What a beautiful (and original) way to do a journal.  Applause!  Here are 3 poems to consider for the Dream, Myth, & Vision issue.  I am the current New Hampshire Poet Laureate and have published 5 collections of poetry.  Hope you can find something among these that fit.  I truly like your vision for this journal because it's unique and expresses values important to me also.

- Patricia (Pat) Fargnoli, current New Hampshire Poet Laureate

Congratulations! The concept is beautifully achieved! Once I got beyond the captivating cover, I was charmed visually by the softness of tone, extraordinary and subtle artwork throughout, varieties of print, positioning and bordering of poetry, prose and interviews. Content was absorbing, provocative and humanizing. I particularly liked your interview with Ms Nye.

I regard the Cold River Review as a model literary journal.  The fine blend of local and global content, the thematic approach, and, of course, the wonderfully artistic presentation make TCRR a refreshing publication.

I was loaned a copy of the remarkable summer issue of the Cold River Review. It is beautifully put together, some fine art work and pregent articles. There was nothing I didn't find interesting.

Greetings!  I bought a copy of The Cold River Review a few days ago.  It's an impressive work.  One thing that I was puzzled by:  the name of the person who conducted the interview with Jack Gilbert seems to be missing.  Or is it there somewhere and I just can't find it?  I think it is as important to know who is asking the questions as it is to know who is giving the answers.

Perhaps if my words were not included, I might be a bit more credible in my unstinting praise for your great periodical. Keep it up!
